Weekend reading retreats for neurodiverse learners

If your child is a neurodiverse learner struggling with reading, join us for a transformative weekend retreat designed to activate the reading brain through joyful, movement-based literacy.

T.A.G. (The Academic Gym®) trains cognition through rhythmic exercise, multisensory routines, and whole-child care. Our retreats help kids build the confidence and skills they need to read and succeed—by engaging both body and mind in dynamic, science-backed learning.

🧠 What to Expect

Our retreats offer families a much-needed escape from daily distractions and immerse children in four hours of holistic, hands-on educational experiences that blend movement, rhythm, and literacy.

🌿 Where

T.A.G. is nestled on a 294-acre country retreat just two hours north of New York City, in the foothills of the Shawangunk Mountains. With panoramic views, lakes, streams, forests, and fields, it’s the perfect setting for mind-body renewal and full-body learning.
