How T.A.G. help kids with ADHD

two images: on the left, kids are bored in a traditional class, but on the right, kids are excited because T.A.G. has turned the class into The Academic Gym.

How does T.A.G. help kids with ADHD?

At The Academic Gym we use the body to stimulate, train, and strengthen the brain. We use athletic body conditioning skills to caffeinate or stimulate the brain for learning. Then we use the rhythmic repetitions of athletic skills to train the brain for rapid recognition in reading skills. Next, we use athletic body conditioning skills to build strong neurological connections in the brain. Neurotransmitters such as BDNF are activated when learning is integrated with structured movement that either delivers or supplements the lesson.

Finally, we review, build, and strengthen these connections with a Daily D.I.E.T. (daily intensive enrichment training). This combination of exciting, rhythmic, athletic and academic skills creates strong, emotional neurological connections while reinforcing and establishing new pathways for learning.
